YOUR GROUPS IN TANZANIA & ZANZIBAR

Why choose this “WILD WORLD” adventure:

* We chose a very cozy and welcoming location where we will spend the 7 nights in Zanzibar and which will fit the theme of our adventure: Mambo Ocean Resort. The resort offers a swimming pool, very good accommodation conditions, direct access to the beach, parties and delicious food
* We made a selection of the most unmissable activities that you must try in Zanzibar: we sail to isolated islands, we dive into hidden caves and swim with turtles, we snorkel in the most famous area for this activity and we relax in the most exotic places of the island
* For the safari in Tanzania we chose the 3 best places where we can observe the fantastic diversity of African fauna. We avoided the super crowded places where all the agencies go.
* The lodge where we will be staying on safari has great conditions and is appreciated by all our travelers
* You have an excellent price and quality/price ratio, the best on the market for this trip in which you will discover a country as exotic and fascinating as possible!
* You have a full-fledged adventure, socializing, adventure and fun as much as possible with people with a young spirit

Raw nature in all its splendor, majestically intertwined with the magic of the most spectacular ocean on the planet — the Indian Ocean. And a wild, unforgettable adventure, crafted in the way only we could imagine.

Everywhere you look, the spectacle of nature and creation unfolds freely before your eyes. You’ll likely fall in love with the white sands, embrace the solitude you’ll find on wild beaches, try to capture the endless shades of blue and turquoise of the ocean and never let them slip away — or maybe you’ll simply surrender beneath the stars, stretched out on a sunbed, enveloped in the surreal silence around you.

You’ll discover a lost corner of Africa, hidden somewhere far away between azure waters, where every passing second makes it harder to tell reality from a dream. Zanzibar surprises and calls to you. It lingers in your mind and resonates deeply. It reveals itself to curious eyes through its contrasts and contradictions, which together define its perfection.

The safari in Tanzania is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that no true nature lover should miss. From wild, untamed landscapes to the magnificent animals that roam the land, Tanzania is the ultimate destination for those seeking genuine adventure — one of Africa’s top locations for safari. The diversity of wildlife is absolutely breathtaking, found across its 21 national parks, reserves, and conservation areas. Among them, you can easily spot all members of the legendary “Big Five”: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and African buffalo.

To offer you a complete experience of Tanzania’s wildlife, we’ve selected three of the country’s most remarkable habitats, each giving us the chance to see different species: Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Lake Manyara National Park.

For 8 days on the wild island and 3 days on the African continent, we’ll live the most thrilling and unforgettable tour ever created through Zanzibar and Tanzania.

PROGRAM

DAY 1

Flight Zanzibar.

DAY 2

After completing the entry formalities and collecting our luggage, we head to the terminal for our domestic flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, scheduled for 10:00 AM. Upon landing at Arusha Airport, we’ll be met by our local representative and, with our packed lunch, we’ll hop straight into the 4×4 safari jeeps that will take us into the famous Tarangire National Park.

This park is renowned for its large population of elephants and majestic baobab trees, as well as for zebras, antelopes, gazelles, giraffes, monkeys, and baboons. Among the predators, lions, leopards, and cheetahs are the most frequently sighted.

We’ll continue our memorable game drive until late in the afternoon, crossing a landscape that blends Maasai steppe plains with the rolling hills of the south, where wildlife reigns supreme.

By evening, we’ll arrive at our charming and comfortable lodge, where we’ll enjoy dinner and relax after a day full of adventure.

Meals included: breakfast (served on the plane), packed lunch, and dinner.

DAY 3

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we head to the Ngorongoro Crater, considered the 8th natural wonder of the world. With walls rising 2,000 meters high and a crater floor spreading over 102 square kilometers, the crater is a living Noah’s Ark, home to almost all species of indigenous East African wildlife, including the rare black rhinoceros. In fact, it has the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet!

The crater contains a river, several marshes, a soda lake often shrouded in mist and filled with flamingos, a forest, and open plains. The elephants here are extraordinary, with incredibly large tusks, nourished by the mineral-rich volcanic soil and lush grasses. These are some of the most impressive elephants you will ever see in your life.

We stop for a picnic lunch near the lake with hippos, continuing to admire the incredible wildlife throughout the crater. Optionally, we can visit a Maasai community living within the crater to observe their lifestyle and culture (entrance fee approx. €20-30 per person).

Later, we drive up the steep crater road, and the day ends with a delicious dinner and a peaceful night at our lodge.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

DAY 4

After breakfast, we set off with a packed lunch and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This enchanting park is renowned for its beauty and incredibly lush forest, featuring acacia trees, giant fig trees, and mahogany trees, which provide a home for baboons and blue monkeys. The park is also famous for its astonishing variety of birds. It is home to numerous giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a lake where large numbers of hippos typically gather. The park is particularly known for its tree-climbing lions and the flamingos along the lake shore. The game drive takes place along the lake’s edge, offering incredible views of animals in the foreground with the lake, flamingos, and flat plains on the horizon. At lunch, we head to Arusha Airport for the flight to Zanzibar, scheduled for 16:30. We arrive in Zanzibar around 18:00, where we are picked up and transferred to the resort for check-in and dinner. Meals included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

DAY 5

After breakfast at the resort, we start the day with two hours on a wild beach, where it’s possible we’ll have the place all to ourselves. Then we continue with an unforgettable experience in a fantastic cave where we’ll go snorkeling, listen to stories, and perhaps even dance to live African music. Rumor has it that the waters in this cave have healing properties. While we haven’t personally tested this, we can assure you that Zanzibar’s landscapes certainly seem to hold such magic.

Next, we head to the Salaam Cave, where we’ll have the chance to enjoy the presence of the famous sea turtles, swim alongside them in the crystal-clear waters of the cave surrounded by lush greenery, and even feed them. A truly unique experience that brings us closer to nature and is not to be missed.

In the evening, we return to the resort. Dinner, relaxing by the pool or on the beach, and rest.

Meals included: breakfast and dinner.

DAY 6

In the morning, after breakfast, around 10:00 AM we will be picked up from the hotel and head to the largest forest on Zanzibar Island. Here you will meet the rare red monkeys, found only in Zanzibar, as well as the blue monkeys. Inside the forest, you will also encounter the equatorial rainforest! We will continue to the mangrove swamp, where you can admire the majesty of nature at your leisure.

After exploring Jozani Forest, we will head directly to a beachfront restaurant where you can have lunch (optional), then continue to Zanzibar’s iconic landmark, the famous rock restaurant, The Rock, where you can enjoy a cocktail while taking in the stunning views of the Indian Ocean. After the tour, we will have the opportunity to see some local products and also taste some of the emblematic fruits of Zanzibar. We will also enjoy a…spiced lunch. Included: entrance ticket and lunch. Not included: drinks, tips for the farmers.

Next, we explore the Miza Cave, shrouded in mystery and folklore legends about women turned to stone. We visit a traditional house for an insight into the daily life of previous generations. Finally, we visit the school in Mtende, where we will have the opportunity to interact with the children of the local community, offering the most touching cultural moments and an indescribable joy. At the end of the day, we return to the resort for dinner. Meals included for the day: breakfast and dinner. Lunch is served during the cultural tour and is included in the price of the excursion.

We will refresh ourselves with a fruit snack and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of a sandbank in the middle of the ocean. Included: Transport, Boat, Fruits, Water. Back on the mainland, we have some free time for lunch, a bit of rest on the beach, or a short shopping trip until around 4:15 p.m., when we embark on another adventure, this time on a traditional wooden local boat (Dhow). We slowly glide past Kendwa Beach and enjoy the sunset on the return trip. The excursion also features talented locals with their famous drums, dancing on the boat, and refreshments with fruits and water—a true celebration on the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean bathed in the red glow of the sunset.
