Why travel with us to Iceland?
* It’s the most comprehensive tour available in Romania — we don’t miss any of Iceland’s major attractions, and with a bit of luck, we might even enjoy the magic of the Northern Lights. Our itinerary includes no fewer than 50 of the island’s most important sights!
* Volcano craters, geothermal fields, majestic waterfalls, glaciers, whales, geysers, thermal baths, ice caves, lava tunnels, volcanic beaches — everything Iceland has to offer, we’ve carefully gathered and harmonized into a truly unforgettable journey.
* The land of fire and ice. The land of Vikings and the Northern Lights. A land of immense waterfalls, endless landscapes, and breathtaking beauty. A trip to Iceland is an adventure you’ll never forget.
* The Vatnajökull glacier is the largest ice cap in Europe — in fact, it’s bigger than all the other glaciers in Europe combined.
* Most Iceland tours don’t even take you to 60% of the places you’ll explore on our itinerary.
BE PART OF STORY!
Iceland. The Land of Fire and Ice, where volcanic steam rises above fields of lava and massive glaciers glide silently toward the ocean. Here, between the emerald sky of the Northern Lights and the earth that trembles with life, lies one of the most spectacular destinations on the planet — an island that seems born from Norse myths, yet exists for real, at the edge of the world.
Iceland is not just a country — it’s an experience for the senses. It’s the place where the wind tastes of the sea, where waterfalls crash with the force of gods, and where every kilometer of road feels like a new page in an epic written by nature. Volcanoes boil beneath the ground, glaciers carve valleys, and the ocean relentlessly beats the cliffs, shaping landscapes no painter could ever fully imagine.
Every day in Iceland is an adventure. In the morning, you can walk across a black lava field; at noon, you can relax in the steam of a geothermal lagoon; and in the evening, you can watch the sky dance in the green hues of the aurora borealis. It’s a place where time flows differently — where beauty is not explained, but lived.
For those who love nature in its purest form, Iceland is a true paradise. Mountains, geysers, ice caves, glacial lakes, canyons carved by rivers, and endless fields covered in green moss form the scenery of a world untouched by man. Everything here pulses with a primal energy, as if the planet itself were breathing beneath your feet.
But beyond nature’s grand spectacles, Iceland also holds a fascinating heritage — the legends of the Vikings. The story of the people who braved the Atlantic and built a civilization at the edge of the world can be felt in every fishing village, every remote farm, every rune carved into an ancient stone. It’s a country that has preserved in its soul the courage, strength, and freedom of those who learned to live in harmony with nature.
Adventurers, dreamers, photographers, explorers, lovers of nature — it’s time to follow the call of the North! Pack your backpack, your curiosity, and your open heart, because you are about to discover Iceland in a unique way.

ADVENTURE SUMMARY
We have put together the most comprehensive tour of Iceland! There are so many things that could be listed in a summary of the 10 days spent here, so we’ll mention just the highlights of the adventure:
* We’ll fill our phone memories with images of Iceland’s most spectacular waterfalls: Hraunfossar, Barnafossar, Godafoss, Dettifoss, Hengifoss, Litlanesfoss, Skógafoss, Kvernufoss, Seljalandsfoss, Gljúfrabúi, Urriðafoss.
* Deildartunguhver is the thermal spring with the highest flow rate in Europe, known for its rapid discharge of 180 liters (380 pints) per second.
* Grábrók is the largest of the three craters found along the same volcanic fissure. The fissure stretches for only 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) with an average width of 20 meters.
* The largest pseudocraters in Iceland are the Skútustaðagígar pseudocraters in the Mývatn area of northern Iceland. They are among the many extraordinary attractions of the Mývatn region and one of the most fascinating natural phenomena in the country.
* The Hverir geothermal field is one of the most “otherworldly” places on Earth, located in Iceland, where you will feel 100% connected to the raw power of the planet. At the foot of the Namafjall volcanic mountain, the Namaskard geothermal area features fumaroles, large mud pools, steam vents, and a red-orange landscape that looks like Mars.
* Viti is a large crater approximately 300 meters in diameter. The “Viti Caldera” is filled with blue water, whose shades vary depending on the time of visit.
* Dimmuborgir is a vast lava field with unusual formations east of Myvatn. Various volcanic caves and rock structures make up the Dimmuborgir area.
* Hverfjall is a tephra cone volcano, or tuff ring, located near the eastern shore of Lake Myvatn in northern Iceland.
* Whale watching in Húsavík – Húsavík is a paradise for marine wildlife lovers, with an average success rate of over 97% in whale sightings over the past three decades!
* Hvitserkur – a 15-meter-high basalt rock rising from the waters of Húnaflói Bay. The rock is a nesting spot for birds, whose constant fluttering makes it seem alive and moving.
* The black sand beaches of Vik and Vestrahorn – two of Iceland’s natural wonders.
* Ásbyrgi Canyon is a spectacular horseshoe-shaped depression in northeast Iceland, perfect for admiring and photographing from panoramic viewpoints.
* Stuðlagil is a unique basalt canyon located in Efri-Jökuldalur in Fljótsdalshérað, which in recent years has become one of the most impressive destinations in Iceland.
* Boat tour on the glacial lagoon – Embark with us on an adventure among icebergs, all the way to the wall of the Jökulsárlón glacier, where we sometimes experience complete silence and other times the breathtaking sight of ice breaking apart. An extraordinary place, seen by few.
* Múlagljúfur Canyon – one of Iceland’s hidden gems, a place of overwhelming beauty, where waterfalls tumble down green cliffs and every step feels like a scene from a Nordic dream.
* Iceland has some truly spectacular canyons, and one of them is Fjaðrárgljúfur in southern Iceland. Fjaðrárgljúfur is a serpent-shaped canyon that remained largely unknown to visitors until just a few years ago.
* If time permits, we’ll make short photo stops at the famous Eldhraun lava field and Hofskirkja Church (the last turf-covered church in Hof and southeastern Iceland).
* Reynisfjara is a world-famous black sand beach located on Iceland’s southern coast, near Vik.
* Once an island, Dyrhólaey has become a peninsula on the southern edge of the country. Its rock arch is a popular tourist spot thanks to its panoramic views and the large puffin population nesting here during the breeding season.
* Strokkur is Iceland’s most visited active geyser and one of the three major attractions on the famous Golden Circle route.
* The Iceland Volcanoes and Earthquake Center offers an interactive demonstration of the epic natural forces that shape our planet and created Iceland itself.
* We’ll explore the magnificent Raufarhólshellir lava tunnel — one of the longest and best-known lava tubes in Iceland.
* Þingvellir (Thingvellir) is a place where Iceland’s dramatic geological processes unfold before your eyes; it is also where the nation’s history truly began and where most of its major historical gatherings took place.
*Blue Lagoon – Home to one of the 25 wonders of the world, the Blue Lagoon is a place where the powers of geothermal water create transformative wellness journeys.
*FlyOver Iceland – a spectacular multisensory experience that takes you on a virtual flight over the entire island. From giant glaciers and steaming volcanoes to waterfalls, fjords, and northern lights, everything comes alive in a breathtaking panoramic film that makes you feel as if you’re truly flying over the Land of Fire and Ice.
*Grjótagjá Cave – a mysterious grotto hidden beneath a fissure in the ground, where blue thermal waters contrast with the dark lava walls. A legendary place, steeped in myth and mystery, as if from a timeless underground world.
*Forest Lagoon – a modern thermal oasis surrounded by forests and mountain views. Its warm waters, sourced from geothermal springs, offer a moment of pure relaxation in the heart of Icelandic nature, where tranquility, steam, and the scent of wood create an almost unreal atmosphere.
*Perlan – one of Reykjavik’s most iconic landmarks, a futuristic museum dedicated to Icelandic nature. Here you can explore artificial glaciers, interactive exhibits about volcanoes and the northern lights, and enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the capital and the ocean from its observation deck.
*Reykjavik city center – the vibrant heart of Iceland’s capital, where modern life harmoniously intertwines with Nordic spirit. Here you’ll find the Sun Voyager monument, symbol of Viking explorers, the imposing Hallgrímskirkja cathedral dominating the skyline with its unique silhouette, as well as colorful streets, cozy cafés, and art galleries capturing the essence of Icelandic life.

Our mini expedition lasts about 3 hours, after which we return to shore and enjoy a short 1-hour walking tour of Húsavík, known as the “Whale Watching Capital of Iceland.” We then continue to Dettifoss, considered the most powerful waterfall in Europe, where nature’s raw force is on full display. Next, we visit Ásbyrgi Canyon, a horseshoe-shaped gorge offering spectacular views. For about an hour, we’ll explore some of the hidden gems of the canyon, away from the crowds. In the evening, we return to the hotel for dinner and rest. Another day of long distances awaits us, as our final destination is Höfn. Our route takes us all the way around the island, which means that while we visit Iceland’s most spectacular highlights, some days will involve extended drives. Today’s itinerary includes three truly impressive natural sights. We begin with Stuðlagil Canyon, a world-famous basalt canyon considered one of the most beautiful in Iceland — and even globally. Many of you have probably seen pictures of this canyon online, and today you’ll have the chance to step inside it and capture stunning images of your own. Next is Hengifoss, a waterfall known for its striking red clay layers nestled between dark basalt columns — a dramatic and unique sight. Before the day ends, we stop at Litlanesfoss, where the water gently winds its way through perfectly formed basalt columns before plunging into a spectacular cascade. From there, we have a 3-hour drive to our hotel, where dinner and a well-deserved rest await us.

HOTEL: VULCANO HOTEL*** (or similar 3)*)
We wake up early and head to one of Iceland’s most stunning coastal landscapes: Vestrahorn, followed by the famous Diamond Beach, a black sand beach scattered with glittering ice crystals. Next comes an epic adventure — an optional Zodiac boat tour in the Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon, where we’ll discover the magical world of icebergs and glaciers. Jökulsárlón is one of Iceland’s natural wonders, formed by the melting of Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier, part of the larger Vatnajökull Ice Cap. While the lagoon isn’t vast in surface area, its depth of 250 meters makes it the deepest lake in Iceland. Giant icebergs float across its calm waters, creating surreal scenery. In the afternoon, we head toward Vík for check-in and dinner — but not before exploring the magnificent Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon, where a 4 km trail along the upper rim offers breathtaking views. Time permitting, we’ll make short photo stops at two more iconic spots: the vast Eldhraun Lava Field, shaped by one of history’s largest lava flows, and Hofskirkja Church, the last traditional turf-roof church built in southern Iceland.

After breakfast in Vík, we begin another day of highlights with one of Iceland’s most iconic landmarks: the Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, located on the country’s southern coast. Its dramatic landscape and basalt columns make it one of the most photographed spots in Iceland. Next, we stop at the famous Dyrhólaey Cliff, with its impressive natural stone arch and ocean views. An optional experience follows — the awe-inspiring Katla Ice Cave, considered the bluest and most beautiful ice cave in Iceland. We venture deep into the Kötlujökull Glacier, resting atop Iceland’s most feared volcano, Katla.
The adventure continues with a tour of five of Iceland’s most spectacular waterfalls:
* Skógafoss – One of the largest and most powerful waterfalls in the country.
* Kvernufoss – A hidden gem with a 30-meter drop into a mossy canyon.
* Seljalandsfoss – Famous for the path that allows you to walk behind the cascading water.
* Gljúfrabúi – A secret waterfall partially hidden behind a cliff, emerging from a cave-like opening.
* Urriðafoss – Iceland’s most voluminous waterfall, often overlooked yet truly majestic.
After this powerful waterfall circuit, we drive to Hella for check-in and dinner.

* The Lava Center, an interactive exhibition showcasing the epic natural forces that shaped our planet and gave birth to Iceland.
* The Raufarhólshellir Lava Tunnel, one of the longest and most well-known lava tubes in Iceland.
Both activities are optional and require an additional fee. Next, we visit Strokkur, the most active and famous geyser in Iceland, which erupts every few minutes. Strokkur is one of the highlights of the Golden Circle, Iceland’s most popular tourist route. We continue to Gullfoss, a majestic waterfall located in the canyon of the Hvítá River—one of the country’s top attractions. Our final stop is the breathtaking Þingvellir National Park, a geological wonder where you can witness the rift between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Þingvellir is also Iceland’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site. With our hearts full of wonder and memories, we return to Reykjavik for dinner and our final overnight stay in Iceland.
OBJECTIVES OF THE DAY IN PICTURES

DAY 9
DAY SUMMARY:
BLUE LAGOON – REYKJAVIK CITY EXPLORATION
LUNCH & DINNER: OPTIONAL
TRANSPORT: VAN 8+1
INCLUDED MEALS: BREAKFAST
HOTEL: –
Our day begins with a traditional Scandinavian breakfast, followed by a relaxing self-guided walk through downtown Reykjavik, where we’ll explore some of the most iconic landmarks of the Icelandic capital. This city tour is optional, so those who prefer to rest may stay at the hotel until 11:30 AM, when we check out. After check-out and the city walk, we head towards another optional experience—but one that no one will want to miss: the Blue Lagoon, a world-renowned geothermal spa located in southwest Iceland. The spa is nestled in a lava field near Grindavík, at the foot of Þorbjörn Mountain, on the Reykjanes Peninsula, an area rich in geothermal activity. The lagoon is filled with warm seawater used by the nearby Svartsengi Geothermal Power Plant, and its signature milky-blue color is caused by its high silica content. Silica also forms a soft white mud on the bottom of the lagoon, which visitors often stir up and apply to their skin. Our unforgettable Icelandic adventure comes to an end here.
